talks about HyperV online "HardDrive" resize features.

 1. Is this only on Gen2 HyperVs since
    all my Windows 2012 R2 HyperV Gen1
HyperVs don't have the option ?

 2. Is anyone using this online

The disk file must be a new style VHDX file in order to have the dynamic size changing available in 2012R2 Hyper-V manager.  Note, this option is not yet available in SCVMM 2012 R2.
