Error 7024 The Remote Desktop Management service terminated with the following service-specific error: %%2284126209
Hi Everyone,
I have a strange one, this morning our RDS server will not allow any RDP connections, diagnose the issue and found that some of the log on As accounts in services had been changed (assuming through windows update as we did not change them manually).
Anyway, after they all were correct - restarted server and now we are getting the following error:
Event ID 7024 - The Remote Desktop Management service terminated with the following service-specific error:
%%2284126209
Restarting the Remote Desktop Management service recreates this error log entry. I did a search online and in the EE search database and everything I have found refers to AD cannot be installed on the same server but there is no AD on this it is strictly a RDS server that has been running fine since last summer.
Here is the server info:
OS: Server 2012 R2 std - fully patched
CPU - quad core Xeon
Ram: 16GB
RDS licenses: 5 user cals installed
Any help you could provide in diagnosing this issue would be appreciated.
thanks,
TheSonicOne
