I am currently using IIS and a windows computer to develop a PHP / MySQL website. But I am moving to a MacOSX environment.

I already installed MAMP and MySQL here, but unfortunately the tool I use to manage MySQL is not available for MAC

https://www.devart.com/dbforge/mysql/studio/

Is there anything similar out there for Mac OSX ?

MySQL workbench is available under GPL from MySQL and works on most Operating Systems.

Another option you might want to look at integrating is phpmyadmin. Most hosts provide this app out of the box with their hosting packages. Once your site is live, you'll likely have this tool available for administering your live site from any computer/OS without having to worry about remembering connection information.
