demote a exchange server

we were using exchange 2010 and now we have migrated to exchange 2013.
we all the user database migrated to exchange 2013.

i have an old mail box server of exchange 2010 which is off from last 2 weeks .now i want to remove it from exchange 2013 organisation.we have already move all the user mailboxes and every thing from this server .kindly let me know the detail procedure to remove it from every where.

i have AD on server 2008R2
Dag on windows server 2012
two Mailbox server of exchange 2013 on win 2012

please gimme the detail procedure to safely demote this server

Here you go to decommission legacy Exchange2010 from Exchange2013 org.

excellent article unfortunately i find that server which needs to be demoted  is also having exchange 2013 with windows 2012 and they already move all the mailbox from this server.
so the same procedure will be applied in this scenario i ll just power on the server and uninstall the exchange roles installed on this server
