RDS Windows 2012 Error

I setup a Windows 2012 RDS server on Amazon AWS. I can get as far as opening the shared apps and then i get the attached error

. I've done this before on another platform and it worked fine with the same settings so i was wondering if it was Amazon AWS even though I've allowed all traffic in and out.

I have used TS Gateway servers in the past and I would imagine that Amazon AWS is similar. For TS Gateway servers, you need to make sure the user has access to:
1. Connect using the Gateway
2. Connect to specified resources

So, check the Gateway server settings to be sure that the server listed in the error is in the list of resources made available to the user. I would list each server the user needs to access using both its FQDN & its static IP.

Also, check to make sure that the user has the rights to connect to the server using the Gateway.

I would imagine it to be an Internet Gateway/routing issue or your security Groups. However, read through the article as this will explain in some depth on how to resolve connectivity issues.

would only world when i separated out the the RDS roles from the domain controller
