HP Blades / C7000 - Mixing Blades (Generations) in SAME C7000 Chassis?

I want to confirm if you can mix two or more HP blade generations in the same chassis? If so, what Generation version are compatible with each? How many Generation versions is it backwards compatible with?

For Example:
C7000 Chassis
(8) Gen 7, with (8) Gen 9 (total of 16 blades) ?

IT Central Station users have commented on the stability and reliability of HP's Blades. This user in particular mentioned that it was easy to add blades from different generations. https://www.itcentralstation.com/product_reviews/hp-bladesystem-review-35641-by-mario-maldini
