My OS is win 7 prof 64 bit and I use Access 2013.
I have a small and simple password creating App which has one main Form.  it selects from the User's input, how the password is to be created, like 2 UC chars   + 2 LC chars, numerics, and special characters, and then when a command button is hit, the password is created and inserted into a field on the form which is in full display.  I also have a command button to Quit, when it is hit.  But everytime I do that I get this error, and do not know what to make out of it :

"Selected collating sequence not supported with the specified file format"

i tried a compact and repair, and when the task was done, I got the same above error.
hope the experts can please  let me know if anything is wrong with my  application.
Thank u

I realize this is for a much older version, but have you seen this article:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/202150

Most reports point to an incorrect setting in the Database Sort Order setting, which is found in Access Options - General settings.
