I have a brand new HP LaserJet 600 M602 and the screen is blank. Printer is confirmed on. First time powered. If this is a physical issue can some one direct me to HP number I can call?

It would appear to be a physical fault or a poor backlight. I do not know where you are, so here is the HP assist page.

http://www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/phone-assist.html

I have several of these at clients and the displays work.

I contacted HP and after about 20 minutes of troubleshooting, the replacement part and technician has been dispatched.

@DivOph  - Thanks for the update and I was happy to help.

Off topic, the Bluetooth daughter card failed in my current ThinkPad X230. IBM had a part to my doorstep in 2 hours flat from my call.

Follow Up . . . The technician found that an incorrectly seated 512 MB RAM chip (addon) was causing the issue. Printer functioned but only as a direct USB Connect.
