Visual Studio 2005 installation error

On a new computer, I tried to install a windows application to connect to a remote computer and I get this error:
"the application requires that assembly system.identitymodel version 3.0.0.0 be installed in the global assembly cache first"

The application installs with no problem on other PCs

What versions of .NET Framework do you have installed? 2.0, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0?
What version of Visual C++ Redistibutable Runtimes do you have installed?
