Hi Experts,

recently, copy and paste on some windows 7 PCs are having delays on some application, for example, after i copied some content from xwin32 terminal and paste it on notepad, it will take 2-3 paste trial (tried both right click and paste and short cut key ctrl+v) before the content can be actually pasted to the notepad. same happen in the reverse direction. I dont have an idea what causing this, please help.

You may want to scan for malware with something like malware bytes. Check your Task Manager (right click clock)  to see what processes are taking up CPU & memory.

Did you look at the processes to see if something is keeping the PC busy?

Maybe this will help.

Cause
These problems are caused by a bad context menu handler. A context menu handler is a shell extension handler that adds commands to an existing context menu (Example: cut, copy, paste, print, Scan with Norton etc).

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Terminal Server Client\Keep Alive Interval
