Hi All,

Is there a powershell script for server hardening?

there are number of checks that you have to do to ensure the server is secure, I am sure there must be a powershell script to automatate this task.

Thank you in advance,

Regards,
Kay

I'm not sure there is one powershell script to do this, and I believe part of the problem is that there isn't definitive agreement on the best practices for hardening a server.  What I can recommend is Security Compliance Manager (SCM) which will come with some baselines, and of course I think there are baselines and recommendations for Server 2012, 2008, and 2003 (as well as client OSs.)  You can also get baselines from NIST and CIS.  (I think DOD and the US Federal government has their own baselines as well...)
