I am able to see the domain-shared printers on our 2012 R2 print server on non-domain machines when going through the 'add printer' wizard. When I select one, it prompts to install the driver from already installed drivers on the laptop, rather than downloading it from the print server. I can choose the correct HP driver (HP Laserjet Enterprise 600 M601 602 603 PCL6), install the printer, and successfully print to it. Not all machines will have the driver already loaded on them.
How can I get it so that the non-domain machines can download the driver from the server? It may be too cumbersome for myself and others to go around and install the driver manually for these guests.
