I have tried to add recurring appointments into Windows 8 Calendar on my laptop but it seems to be unable to add things for say every Monday, every Tuesday etc.<br />
As I have 4 children doing a range of activities this would be very handy.<br />

This Calendar app seems hopeless for such things. There does not appear to be a way to add a todo list either.<br />

Am I missing some sort of update or is thing useless?<br />

If it is useless could someone recommend a good free or cheap replacement. It would be great if it synced with my android phone.
