Email Bounce Back

Hi Guys
I have a client who has advised they are receiving bounce backs when sending to certain addresses. Below is a copy of one of the bounce backs and from what I can see the issue appears to be related to SPF. I have checked their SPF record on MXToolbox and everything looks fine.

Your thoughts would be appreciated...

cluster3.eu.messagelabs.com #<cluster3.eu.messagelabs.com #5.1.3 SMTP; 553-SPF (Sender Policy Framework) domain authentication> #SMTP#

Administration of Active Directory does not have to be hard.  Too often what should be a simple task is made more difficult than it needs to be.The solution?  Hyena from SystemTools Software.  With ease-of-use as well as powerful importing and bulk updating capabilities.

Thanks for that.. The issue only occurs when my client send to certain users, most emails deliver without issue.

I've had to add host A records for emails addresses to the UK, and outside the US for obvious reasons. Spam filters have a hard time with the ongoing spam and network attacks. You either manually add the host A records and allow lists with your spam filters or this will likely continue to happen. On my clients that do international business I get with the IT on the receiving end to resolve, kind of a pain but the reality is there's not allot of international business (I can easily keep up with the manual config).

or send an email asking the mail.**.uk to add your domain to their allow list.

sorry for all the emails, what does http://mxtoolbox.com and http://intodns.com tell you about you network. Make sure you're not on any blacklists and the company you're sending to.

HI Guys...

Sorry for the delay coming back. We managed to resolve the issue, we found that the clients exchange server was configured to send via a SMTP relay. As soon as we changed the settings to use MX records the problem went away.

Thanks for all of your input on the case..
