How can I get this altered select box to display inline correctly?

Head out to http://brucegust.com/test.

In the first example, you see my altered select box with a custom arrow. Dig it! I want to display that inline, like what I have in the second example. Problem is, you'll see that when I add "display:inline;" I lose my custom arrow.

How can I preserve my custom arrow and still display my select box "inline?"

Change your display:inline to display:inline-block;
