A user is inviting an attendee to an already made calendar event, when it is sent the invited attendee is getting a totally different invite and sometimes it is a event on his own calendar.

The issue is not clear.
Was it a meeting invite?       (already made calendar event... not clear)

Who is the sender?
How the invite is sent to another user? - forwarding the invite?

Is it possible to provide a screenshot?

Thanks,
Veera.

Veera,

Owner 1 opened an already created event in his calendar, clicked the "invite attendees" button at the top and put in Owner 2's email address. When owner 2 is receiving these invites it is showing his own calendar events and sometimes they are from years ago. They have been doing this same process for years with no issues, and owner 2 lives in another state. I will try and get a screenshot for you as well.

1. Only the Appointment gives an option for "Invite attendees". Otherwise, organizer will get an option to forward the Meeting invite instead of "invite attendees".
2. Are they using outlook to send these invites? or using any mobile device?
3. Are they both on the same exchange organization?
If yes, Organizer should select the attendee name from GAL (Global Address List) instead of typing the email address manually.

What was changed just before the issue started?

Thanks,
Veera.

Yes they are both using Outlook and they are both in the same domain. I will have them try picking from GAL instead of typing the email address and see what happens.
