Server 2012 RDP Gateway not working

Hi,  We are setting up a new server 2012 R2 and configuring Remote Desktop Gateway, we have a SSL cert from godaddy and it has been added, but when try and do a rdp connection we get the following error:

"Your computer can't connect to the remote computer because the Remote Desktop Gateway server is temporarily unavailable.  Try reconnecting later or contact your network administrative for assistance."

Thank you,
Rob

How did you set things up, how are you attempting to connect, and how did you install the certificate?  Most RDS configuration errors in 2012 stem from not understanding the fairly significant changes that have been made to the RDS architecture. Microsoft introduced a scenario option in the add roles wizard that helps avoid the most common mistakes, but a surprising number of people choose to go the traditional route and add the roles themselves instead of letting the wizard do its job.  Knowing more about your environment would help us troubleshoot. Connecting from an .rdp file generated by rdweb is a very different prospect than manually attempting to connect, for example. And don't forget event logs. They can tell you a *ton* about what is going on.
