"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

It seems this issue has been discussed before, you should check with MS to confirm, but the general requirement going back to 2013 is that in order to have office365 installed on a TS/RDS a volume licensing agreement has to be in place between the firm and MS.

So the answer to your question is, yes it is possible with applicable conditions in place.

Yes, an Open license subscription is qualified for RDS. You mist installed in "shared computer" mode. TechNet has an article for installing O365 ProPlus in shared mode.

As always, no licensing advice here is legally binding.
Don't forget to configure shared computer activation or you will have licensing issues.
