Hi,

I want to do the verical pivoting of the data.

Input Data:

CUSTOMER_ID      CUSTOMER_NAME
1                               UMA
1                               Ram
1                               POOJITHA

What I want to Achieve is
Output Data:

CUSTOMER_ID      CUSTOMER_NAME      CUSTOMER_NAME1 CUSTOMER_NAME2
1                               UMA                       RAM                        POOJITHA

The number of rows in the input data is a dynamic value which can be any number.

Please help me to find some good methods to achieve this.

You are looking for the PIVOT enterprise.

The hardest thing to remember (I've been caught with this before), is that the source file/table MUST never change rowcounts to match the columns.  Meaning if you cycle 6 rows to columns, and the next file comes with 7 rows in the set, you have to change the Job.

Hope this helps.
