Enable Milticast support on HP NC373i Multifunction Gigabit Server Adapter NIC for WNLB

Hi Guys

Could anyone tell me how to enable milticast support on HP NC373i Multifunction Gigabit Server Adapter NIC for WNLB (2 x Server 2008r2 with single NICs on each one)

Do i need to change any NIC device properties or will they just function if i set up NLB in Multicast mode?

Thanks

i cant telnet to the VIP from another server on the same subnet (port 443). Although i can ping both the VIP and the dedicated addresses. any suggestions?

You should not be able to telnet to port 443 successfully.  Port 443 is typically what a HTTP/Webserver listens on for SSL/TLS connections.  Telnet does not understand TLS/SSL. So when you telnet to port 443, you will most likley get nothing, then if you press enter a couple times, you will get disconnected.

On top of that, attempting to connect to a specific IP address has nothing to do with multicast.
This is the best money I have ever spent. I cannot not tell you how many times these folks have saved my bacon. I learn so much from the contributors.
