Better Process to Move Citrix XenApp 6.5 server from 1 Windows domain to another

Hello.  We have a production Citrix XenApp 6.5 farm consisting of 13 servers, a separate license server and separate Secure Gateway servers.  We are migrating all servers off of domain1x and moving them to domain2z.   I have begun moving our Citrix XenApp 6.5 servers from one Windows domain to another.  I have found that I am not unable to 'remove' from the XenApp farm and receive a message that this cannot be removed because the server is online and have to uninstall XenApp.  After the server windows domain has been changed I can then re-install XenApp and join the existing farm.

I am currently doing the test systems, and before I get to production, would like to find out if there are some other steps I can follow to shorten this process?

Thanks in advance.
