Server 2012 R2 - RDS and Outlook Config

Hello,

We have a new Server 2012 R2 RDS Connection Broker with two session hosts.

When a user logs into a session host for the first time, they are prompted to configure Outlook. Is there a way to configure the RDS servers so their mailbox is available immediately?

If not, how can we configure the defaults for auto-config? By default, the user has cached-mode enabled and we would rather have them use online mode.

You can disable cached mode with group policy. And several other defaults. Preconfiguring outlook profiles and totally skipping the initial setupmrequires third-party solutions though.

Thanks! Do you recommend setting any other Outlook defaults in a Server 2012 R2 / RDS environment?
