hardware question (panel PC & ubuntu)
I'm using this panel pc for a custom application
The panel PC http://www.icop.com.tw/en/product/Panel-PC-PPC-090T/PPC-090T.html
I need to mount it vertically aka portrait mode. It will be running a custom app constantly with no user access to the OS (ubuntu). Do you think I'll be able to force the display to rotate so I can mount it vertically (portrait mode)?
I'm new to this and I'm not sure if it's a no brainer or impossible.

With xrandr you can set the resolution and orientation of your display easily on Linux. But I would definitely not recommend Ubuntu, as that is not suitable for such a low-end CPU, and also the GPU needs to support OpenGL and has to be highend if you want some sort of response from the system. Maybe Lubuntu or Xubuntu, or another Linux distro would be a better choice.

When you say some sort of response, you mean quick interaction with lag between use input and application reaction? What is it about spec that cause concern when Ubuntu is considered as the OS? Thanks for the help, I'm just getting started with this platform.
