Resolving notes group email address to old name with subdomain

When we try to send email to notes group we receive the message “groupname@lotus.domena.com not listed in Domino Directory”. This is old group address, now we use names without subdomain, i.e. groupname@domena.com.  How to solve the issue? We use Domino and Notes 9.01.

In a new mail, what do you get when you type groupname and then hit the F9 key?

In a new mail, use the address search button. What are the address books you can choose from? These address books need to be inspected for the presence of groupname.

Check also whether you're using Directory Assistance, there might be additional databases in the da.nsf database.

Last but not least: some CRM applications also function as an address book, check that as well.

So: not all users?? That would be 'unexpected'...

Open the Address Book, then in the menu, click View, type and hold Ctrl and Shift, then click Goto... All views are shown, including the hidden views. Select ($NamesFieldLookup) and click OK. In that view, search for groupname. Click the document shown, ant type Alt-Enter. You can inspect the data of the document on the 2nd tab. For instance, what is the value of the Form field?

In main Address Book everything is ok, but we checked all documents in personal address book. There were some hidden documents with wrong email address. Now, after deleting them and some time, it's OK. Thanks for suggestions what to check.

We resolved the problem in a little different way. We've created the view with all documents, even hidden, and we checked if there is something strange. There were.
Because it's my first time, I've no experience in rating.
