Which logs can I view to find when and who failedover a HA cluster?

you should check the /var/nslog/newnslog  logfile.
this file is in binary format and you need "nsconmsg" to read id.

I needed to view some of the older logs for when the failover happend and when I extracted them they were ppe files... how can I view these

# nsconmsg –K newnslog –d event | egrep –I 'node|init|failover|ha'
# nsconmsg –K newnslog –d stats –g ha_ | more

Great articles!!! I guess I better start becoming more comfortable with the nsconmsg utility...

I am still confused as to the difference between the ns.log and newnslog... I know the ns.log is a standard flat file but why two separate files
don't know
