best way to delete all deive mappings and create new ones via policy

I have a windows sbs 2003 server which im retiring
I have a new 2012 standard server and added domain services to it and promoted it
so I have the sbs DC and my new 2012 DC
I have all windows 7 clients
each user is an admin of their own pc
so vb scripts etc don't seem to work well
what is the best method to delete all drive mappings
create new drive mappings
install printers

Yes The replace will delete all existing maps even drives mapped to other servers so there will be no mappings other than the ones I create

sbs 2003 has login script in c:\windows\system32\sysvol\domainname\sbs_loginscirpt.bat. simply rename it

in ad users and groups, make sure users don't have that login script attached to their profiles.

on 2012 server, create a gpo for mapped drives and link it to authenticated users.

I take it you know how to create gpo's etc so I am not going into detail on how to do that stuff.

You can use Group Policy Preferences for creating new mappings and deleting old mappings

Use Group Policy preferences / drive maps....... and then choose "replace" and it should overwrite any existing drive mappings with what you want them to be..
