Oracle star and snowflake schema

Hi, Oracle has the scott/tiger schema with HR employee tables and salaries etc.

What I want are scripts to create a schema that contains an example of a data warehouse, both snowflake and star schema.

I am not wanting anyone to help me write them, I just want to know whether sample scripts exist and if so, where, and which one is the best implementation of the two examples.

I am running Oracle 9.02 on Windows XP.

Thank you

John

I always start in the docs.

For a Star, check out the Sales History sample schema:

The Sales History sample schema (the basis for most of the examples in this book) uses a star schema.

Still looking to see if they added snowflake samples anywhere.

Ah, the "sh" schema. I didn't even know it existed.

Not finding any Snowflake sample schemas.

Hopefully another Expert will be able to post something later.
