Debug PHP with Dreamweaver

I have an PHP website setup. Just wonder how can I use Dreamweaver CS5 to connect to the site and go debug the code and run through the workflow ?

Any reference or study-by-study guide to run through the setup ?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Probably not.  None of the top experts here uses Dreamweaver to write PHP code much less debug it.

One does.  Sometimes.

Dreamweaver is not a debugging environment.  At most, it will provide code coloring and some very basic syntax checks while you write code but otherwise it provides no real functionality that you can't get in a good text editor.

The one thing Dreamweaver DOES do is provide a suite of basic PHP/MySQL "behaviors" that non-technical users can take advantage of and build a CRUD system.

Use anything you like.  I like Programmer's Notepad from the free side of things and Sublime from the paid side.  If you want to look into IDE's, PHPStorm has some nice features.

Also HTML-KIt http://www.chami.com/ , Notepad++ http://notepad-plus-plus.org/ , and PSPad http://www.pspad.com/ which will all 'colorize' your code to make it easier to read.  They all have different features so I have all of them.  No Dreamweaver though.  But I edit 'Dreamweaver code' all the time.  And I use Bluefish http://bluefish.openoffice.nl/index.html on my Linux and Mac machines.
