How to add class to view using Drupal preprocessor

I have a view created in drupal 7 and want to add a class to it via drupal's preprocessor.  Does anyone know how to accomplish this?

Hi  I saw this link, but it is adding it to the preprocessor, which has to be included in the deployment schedule which is pushed every week.  II wanted something that I could control from within the view.

I did find an option, using css and using sibling references.  I have the code-per-node module installed so I am able to add css as I need to
