yeah... They don't like that.

USE. You agree not to use or provide software (except for general purpose web browsers and email clients, or software expressly licensed by us) or services that interact or interoperate with CL, e.g. for downloading, uploading, posting, flagging, emailing, search, or mobile use. Robots, spiders, scripts, scrapers, crawlers, etc. are prohibited, as are misleading, unsolicited, unlawful, and/or spam postings/email. You agree not to collect users' personal and/or contact information ("PI").

You need to check with them, and see what they say about your specific needs.

@coral47 everybody knows that... I don't think you read my question properly.

That's possible.
It looks like you want info on something that does what is against their TOS.
Which is against EE's TOS.

If this is incorrect, could you please explain?

@coral47 Craiglist have a python script that you can use to post multiple ads at once. Do you have information about it, moreover do you any experience using it?

..............The ones using it may no longer have accounts on Craigslist. It is a direct violation of their rules and terms. Someone has on two occasions in the last 6 months, gone in with some software and flagged all our ads. When Craigslist caught up with them it ended.
We place nearly 50 ads and do not need any auto relist.

Keep using what you have already tried and hopefully your account can survive their software filters designed to catch such auto relisting violations.

@nickg5 thank you so much for taking time to respond to my question.  Are you saying that you have close 50 ads post manually and managed using only Craigslist.

ahhhh... thanks for the explanation. I have used my "1 strike" on 'questionable doings', and now prefer to be safe than sorry.     : D

I looked into using the python script several years ago, but never ran enough ads to actually use it.

CL does provide their own bulk posting interface:
http://www.craigslist.org/about/bulk_posting_interface

Sign up for a paid CL account, build a hook into this, follow their posting guidelines and you'd have the most success.

There is example perl code at the bottom. If you wanted to build it in a different language, there's a variety of other examples on the web:

It's been years since I've posted on CL, but wanted to throw this out there as a way to work within their TOS.

@Lucas Thank you for the information, however I don't know what do you mean by a paid CL account, I'll look into it. I saw a python script a while ago, I appreciate the github link reference.
