Centos 6.0 is NOT listed as a supported OS for conversion.

Also converter is a Windows App which installs on Windows OSvabd you perform a remote network conversion.

There are non-supported ways of P2V'ing your CENTOS server, but it's just that unsupported by VMWare. You can check this site to see if it is something you might try.

There are paid commercial tools which can do this.
