Sync problem sbs 2011 / Mobile device iphone 5
I had a diskcrash without backup, on the workstations was still a copy of the email availebel with extention *.ost
with a tool i converted the ost file to a pst file. I put back the emails to the same account everthing works fine except
the syncronisation with the mobile device.
The status of a email in outlook is read but on the mobile it's not.
When i delete a email in outlook the email is also gone on the mobile. and visa versa.
This happening only with one account, the other accounts works fine.
Exchange 2010 use the Roll Up 8v2
Can you give a solution to resolve this ?

Sorry - no ida what your question means.
Have you tried adding the same account to a different mobile and if so - do you get the same results?
If you do - you might need to create a 2nd database on the SBS server, then mount it and move the mailbox to it, then for tidiness, move it back, then delete the new database.
This will eliminate corruption from the mailbox as it should drop anything that is corrupt during the mailbox move.

Hallo Alan
I tried on a different mobile Phone Samsung galaxy S4 and i've have the same result.
I create a new database on sbs server and move the mailbox to the new database, The user mailbox is 4 Gb
Than i put the mailbox back to the Original database and mailbox of the user was only 1 Gb
The difference with before this action is wen i replay on a email there is syncro for that mail (= status read)
The emails that I only open for reading, there is no status change on mobile.
Can i delete the account on the SBS server and afterwards recreate the same account op the SBS

Wow - 4Gb to 1Gb! What happened?
If you delete the user you will have some issues with people sending that person internal emails or replies to previous emails, but it might help.
You can always test by creating a new user account, exporting their mailbox to a .PST file and then importing into the new account, then setting up the mobile and see if that fixes the problem.
If it does, you can then zap the old account and rename the new account.

Hello Alan,
I've create a new account and importend the PST file for testing
Everthing works fine with the new account, sync with mobile Phone.
I've diconneted the old mailbox and removed it.
I've create a new mailbox and attached it to the exiting user + imported the PST file and everthing works fine like it should
Thank you for your support
