SCCM 2012 not pulling Windows 2012 WSUS updates
Recently, I have added both Windows 2012 and Windows 2012 R2 into our existing Automatic Deployment rules in SCCM however, if I right click All Software Updates and run Synchronize Software Updates and monitor wsyncmgr.log file the requested categories are not listing Windows 2012 or Windows 2012 R2. See here:
Also when I open Windows Server Update Services on the SCCM server and select Products and Classifications Windows 2012 and Windows 2012 R2 is not selected.
But if I select these categories and then run Synchronize Software Updates from SCCM... when I check Windows Server Update Services Windows 2012 and Windows 2012 R2 Products and Classifications are unticked again!
I really need our SCCM to download product critical, definition and security updates for Windows 2012 and Windows 2012R2! Please help, it's driving me crazy!

You have to change that in SCCM in the server roles area of the admin section. Otherwise SCCM will go back and "fix" what you are breaking in WSUS.
