I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hi,

Adding a new attribute to user is also call "extending the Schema". for this you first need to register the schema so that you can view and edit in schema.

run the command : regsvr32 schmmgmt.dll

then run MMC and open schema console. Modification in schema is higly risky task till you could not understand that what you are doing or what you are going to perform.
Please fo through the url completely then proceed.
