Cost of Exchange 2013 & Server 2012 User CALS?

Hi there.

Could someone assist with providing the cost of the following in British Pounds?

Exchange Server 2013 Standard user CAL

Exchange Server 2013 Enterprise user CAL

Windows server 2012 Standard user CAL

Windows server 2012 Datacenter user CAL

Windows server 2012 R2 Standard user CAL

Windows server 2012 R2 Datacenter user CAL

If anyone can answer this it would be a great help!

Thanks,

Sean

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

There is no single cost.
You need to speak to your reseller to get the pricing that is applicable to your business. The price changes frequently and it can also depend on what you already own, whether you have an existing agreement or not and how many you want to buy. It also depends on whether you want SA or not.

Windows 2012 only comes in one type of CAL, there is no standard or data centre CAL. You can have it as user or device CAL. There is no CAL for Windows 2012 R2.

Exchange CALs are different - you must have Exchange 2013 Standard CALs, but they can be used with either Standard or Enterprise edition. The enterprise CAL is an add on.

But you really need to speak to a specialist.

Simon.
