Why won't the online meeting add-in for Microsoft Lync 2010 stay checked in Outlook?

The box won't stay checked therefore there is no Lync meeting button present when I schedule meetings.  I have removed and re-installed both Lync and Office 2010.  I manually check the box but when I go back in, it is unchecked.

Hey Mai.  Thanks for the response.  I didn't check to see if that was inactive but I will check it the next time the user is in the office.
