Internal DNS

Our external webserver is   https://mail.exchange.com/owa     I would like to setup internal DNS to point to the internal address. Internal the mail server is phx-exchange.domain.local  I can have the users https:// phx-exchange.domain.local/owa   but would rather have DNS internally do this for them.. As they are doctors and get confused very easily…

I am not sure where in DNS to do this and what type of record to create.
