Confused about use of DropBox

We have a file that we want to share with a total of 3 users.  I have a DropBox account and so do the other users.  I have created a folder in the shared DropBox account and have put a file into it.  When I open the file and make a change to it and then close it the other users are not seeing that change.  It's as if the revised file stays on my computer but doesn't get sent up to the shared DropBox folder on the web.

Can someone please help straighten out our confusion?

Do you mean that you've created a shared folder in your Dropbox account?
SteveL13Author Commented:
Yes.  And I can see it when I go to the DropBox web address.  Ant the other users can see it and the file that is in it.  But when one of us changes the file, the other 2 of us don't see the change.
Have the users refreshed their browser? Or are you accessing dropbox via a utility? If so, those utilities usually keep local copies on the PC, and if you change something you might first be doing that locally and it doesn't get synced immediately with dropbox. Or the other users haven't synced yet and gotten the new version...

Is synching turned on for all of the computers?  The dropbox icon in the tray should have a green check mark on it.
