angularjs select value push

select or dropdownlist. once you select the value then the value sends to data object and my http post receives the value as a parameter and pass it enabling the page to load.  problem is the data is not passed or the dom is not loading.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hi,

As you currently have your plunker, it seems that the post is commented out. I guess it wouldn't work in plunker... Can you share the code of "page.aspx/webmethod".

This is now just a comment but may be useful. You do not need to stringify your object. The following should work:

$scope.myFunction = function (val) {
    var data = {
        fileTypeID: val,
        ...//whatever other post args
    };
    $http.post("page.aspx/webmethod", data)
    .success(function (data, status, headers, config) {
        console.log(data);
    });

Open in new window

Let me know how it goes,
