Outlook Web App Deleteing folders

Hello, This is a strange one and its driving me crazy.

I am the administrator for the Office 365, We have a folder named "Work In Progress" and we simply wanted to delete it. delete the folder does indeed initially remove the folder and place it in the Deleted Items folder. all well and good.

Deleting the "Work In Progress" folder from the Deleted Items folder again gets removed but after a few moments the folder reappears.

No matter how I delete the folder it will not permanently delete.

As I say I'm the Administrator of Office 365, This is a standard Office 365 Account Enterprise license. We have tried this using the Outlook 2013 client on PC and the Outlook Web App with the same results.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you
Gary

Can be a bug with back end at office 365. You should speak with office 365 support.

Perfect Thank you

First time I've had this error, Appreciate it.
Sorry, Given some more time this folder has again returned.

It just won't go.
Well in that case it looks like something is recreating it. Do you have any other devices connecting to the same mailbox, mobile phones, additional PCs? Make sure no other devices are accessing the mailbox, stop even Outlook and check if the folder will reappear with only OWA running.
There are other clients syncing

I have scheduled a full shutdown this evening to allow me to try this.

I will use Outlook Web App to perform the deletion.

Thank you for your quick response.
Just like to acknowledge Sudhir Bidye comment, thank you,
I'm a Microsoft Partner so yes I can go down that avenue should the test this evening fail.
