Hyper V and licensing

We have two OEM licenses for:  Microsoft Windows Server 2008 Enterprise Option Kit - Licence and media - 1 server, 25 CALs
Microsoft Windows Server 2008 Enterprise (1-8 CPU) - 25 CALS

1.      Can we use these two OEM licenses with Hyper-V Server 2012 R2?
2.      If we can use our two OEM licenses, In total how many virtual machines could we spin up at any one time utilizing both licenses?

Thank you in advance.

The OEM licenses are tied to the hardware they were sold with.  You CANNOT move them.  HOWEVER, you CAN install Hyper-V Server on the hardware they were sold with.  If they were sold with the same hardware you could run 8 VMs.  If they sold with different hardware, then 4 VMs per physical server.  (Each enterprise license grants you 4 VM licenses).
