I have a potential client who has 2 offices.
He needs to have all data accessible to all staff in both offices, this is mostly word docs and PDFs.
Testing shows that having 1 server with VPN connectivity for the second office is not fast enough for the users to access the data in an efficient manner.
My plan would therefore be to implement a 2 server environment and use DFS to have a copy of all data at both locations. 1x 2012 Essentials providing DC, and 1 Std Server providing DFS access in second location.
Can I do this in an Essentials environment? (Currently 9 users in total and this will probably not go above 12-15 in the next 5 years)
