I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I'm not sure how the SSIS package is executed but most likely there's no "...connection could not be made to the data source with the DataSourceID of 'ce5d450e-aa95-4c4d-93ba-2ebbd7c6d625', Name of 'myMetricsDataMarket'." due to some authentication issue. My guess is that SSIS is executed via SQL Agent in which case the SQL Agent Start-up account must have access to that SSAS and underlying tables or otherwise the account that is running the SSIS package. You could create a proxy if you don't have one already and use that one instead of granting SQL Agent Start-up account (unwanted) elevated security.
