exchange open any mailbox OWA permission

Hi, is there a way to setup permission by default to have OWA access to any mailbox on server without going trough enabling "full mailbox permission" for each mailbox individually ?

thanks !

If you login as administrator you may be able to. See if this helps:

In Active Directory U&C when you can do is at the root domain you can set a Group or an individual user to have full access to all accounts in the domain. So when you create a new mailbox in Exchange the Active Directory permissions will be applied to the AD User which then corresponds with the Exchange account and you will have full mailbox permissions automatically.

You can also use powershell to add-mailboxpermissions at the database level as well.

William Fulks, right at the beginning of an article it says "If you have full access to a mailbox ..." meaning that permission was added, domain admin doesn't have that permission by default.

Will Szymkowski do you know what permission do i need to give that group so that it has full permissions to all domain mailboxes?

thanks !

Making Bulk Changes to Active Directory

Watch this video to see how easy it is to make mass changes to Active Directory from an external text file without using complicated scripts.

You can do this for all databases in your environment using the following command...
Get-MailboxDatabase | Add-ADPermission -User <groupname> -AccessRights GenericAll -InheritanceType All

Now whenever a mailbox is created on any database whatever group you assign will automatically have Full Access permissions on the mailboxes.
