Manually move VM on Smartstyle Server

We have a 3-Node SmartStyle System with a failed node and need to move the VM on that node to a working node.  We have found information that indicates this is called a manual move and it can be done. Just need to find someone that has done this before Zenith InfoTech went out of business. So need to locate a previous tech of Zenith or a support individual that is very familiar with the Smartstyle Systems and how to accomplish the manual move or migration of a VM

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

one of the reasons they went out of business was it was a type 2 hypervisor .. even virtualbox is a type 1 hypervisor.. what you should do is find some way of imaging each virtual machine  and move onwards and upwards.

I would but there in lies the problem the VM's are on the failed node.  I have since this post located a partial resolution in that I was able to run the administrative move feature after making sure there was enough resources on the Target Node which did move the VM to Node1 off of Node3 even though node 3 was missing and dead. it failed to make the complete move but did move the data disk with no problem which I then used iSCSI to attach that disk to an external system.  This has allowed us access to most everything. We are now just dealing with security issues on some files and some folders.   To tell you the truth I was really surprised it was able to move the VM at all since the Node3 was failed and not even connected, so the redundancy feature of the 3 node system did actually work.  I am still looking to restore the original VM so I can access all the files and folders and not deal with security issues so would still like advice from someone that has dealt with restoring a failed node on the SmartStyle before I finish the migration.

We have the best possible solution for now.  Even though a little additional Linux information would have helped
