Move Inbox in Outlook 2007

Hi

I am using Outlook 2007 and have two email accounts setup.

In the attached picture, my main account is at the bottom underneath my 1st one. I want to move this so that its first in the list but it wont let me drag and drop it.

Does anyone know if this can be done? I know it can be done in Outlook 2010 and 2013.

Many thanks in advance

Scott

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

In Outlook 2007, and previous, the list of mailbox folders and pst-files in your Navigation Pane is sorted alphabetically. So when you want to change the sorting order, you must rename the mailbox or pst-file.

I believe the possible exception to this is the default mailbox; This mailbox or pst-file is always listed first no matter what the name is.

To change the display name of a pst-file, right click its top-level folder and choose Properties-> button Advanced…-> tab Advanced-> field: Name

You cannot change the configuration of Outlook.

It looks like you have a mix of Exchange and a non Exchange accounts. The primary account will always be at the top. Furthermore the primary account will always control the delivery location of additional accounts. I would not recommend trying to change things around, if you do you could end up losing email.
