IE11 GPO via 2012 R2?

I hear IEAK has now been superseded by GPO, is this correct?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

No, the IEAK is still a valid tool.

The IEM section in group policies has been deprecated though. iE10 and 11 ignore settings from IEM, and the GUI to edit them has been removed in 2012.

Yes, noticed the IEM bit.  Do you recommend using GPO and not IEAK?
Cliff GaliherCommented:
Each serves a purpose. It is situational. I often use a combination of both.

my small test shows using GPO should work fine
