assuming you're talking about a cisco (you haven't specified) I've only really seen the class-map used for QOS purposes so cant be sure.<br />
It's worth a try but I've seen it used to control bandwidth before, which does work. You could try limiting the bandwidth of streaming traffic to a ridiculously low bandwidth and kill it that way.
