VB.net SSMA

Hi

Is it possible to manipulate the SSMA (SQL Server Management Assistant) from my VB.net project.
I read that it is written C#

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Are you mixing 2 products?

SSMS = SQL Server Management Studio
SSMA = SQL Server Migration Assistant

Which are you trying to interact with? What are you trying to do?

Hi. I had a hunch someone might think I was confusing the two.
I am definitely talking about the latter SSMA = SQL Server Migration Assistant
My aim is to add functionality to my app that allows users to shift data from an Access table into a SQL table

Your original question was stating "management". This is were the confusion came from.

I never tried to automate SSMA from an application.

But I found some hints indicating it might NOT be possible: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/217964/can-ssma-for-migrating-access-databases-to-sql-server-2005-be-automated
