Microsoft Word, Insert a worksheet object

Hello expert,

In a couple of of Word 2010 docs I find little Excel icons that, when they are Cntrl+clicked
open the Excel file. Trying to recreate that with a different Excel file.

This is not a  link or embed
Link creates a a URL-like underlined string.  Embed actually places the worksheet in
the Word document.
This inserts an Excel icon that when Cntrl+clicked opens up the worksheet.
When the icon is right clicked the options are the regular ones like Cut, Copy and  Paste
but also is the option Worksheet object.

How is the Worksheet object inserted in Word 2010?

I can't find any reference to this sort of thing.  But, if no one else replies with a way to do it, you can always insert a pic of the Excel icon, then right click it and make the pic itself a link to the file.

Place the cursor where you want to insert the link in your Word document
Insert tab ―> in the Text group select Object and a new pane opens ―> select Create from file tab ―> check the Display as icon box
Browse to Excel file location and select file. Click insert ―> click OK

Actually, my method requires that you double-click on the inserted icon to open the Excel file!
